Define the coverage problem with measurements
Using one device, record signal, download, upload, Ping and loss beside the router and in each important room. Note walls, floors and where performance suddenly drops.

Use safe, code-compliant cable routes and PoE hardware with compatible ratings. In US homes with usable coax, professionally configured MoCA may provide a wired backhaul alternative.
Avoid overspending and overbuilding
More nodes are not automatically better. Excess overlap can increase interference and roaming ambiguity. Start with the fewest nodes, use non-conflicting channels and retest at the same locations.
Ignore combined theoretical Wi-Fi numbers as a promise to one device. Judge the system by measured room performance, latency under load, update support and return policy.
